College Audition & Application Counseling

Are you thinking about majoring in flute performance or music education?

The application & audition process for music majors is a much more involved and comprehensive process than a typical college application.  In addition to picking colleges to apply to, taking SAT's and ACTs, writing essays, and the regular application (which is huge by itself!) you will also need to prepare prescreens, audition for the music school, and have an interview with faculty.  It can be an overwhelming process to go through alone.  Having someone to guide you through can make a world of difference. I have over 20+ years of experience guiding students to finding the right college - and getting in!  Plus, I'm a mom who has guided her own daughter through the process, so I've been in your shoes and I GET IT! I am here to be your friend, confidant, and counselor in choosing "perfect fit" schools, getting applications finished and noticed, preparing prescreens, practicing for interviews, handling auditions like a pro, deciding between offers, and finding scholarships. I'm here to remind you of deadlines, answer your questions, and make you feel supported and secure as you go through this pivotal moment in your music career.  It all starts with a consultation...
